Håvard started modeling when he was around 10 years old and has been doing it off and on for over 30 years now.
"Tårnvogna" is his first O-scale model.
"The real challenge was to get all the odd angles of the beams correct.
The model has a lot of these angles! I used a Northwest Shortline
sander, but I will invest in an electric sander in the future.
The brake rigging was also quite a challenge. The springs were made by
winding soft metal wire on the threads of screw.

At the moment most of my modelling is done on my mac. I´m preparing
artwork for the etchings for the first boxcab electric that ran on the
Thamshavnbanen.
But when this model is ready to run it is time to do
some serious track-laying!"
